The mountain tops that are visble from our home seem a hundred miles away; when really it is a 30 minute sprint. It is really beautiful

to travel towards the snow. Watching how the roads become narrow as you trek higher into the mountain top. It is somewhat surprising to notice there are a lot of bare spots with out railing and a wonder that there are not more accidents, however I am sure the fire fighters get their fair share of calls; since there is a fire station at the start of the mountain climb.
