The Time is  Nigh

Since 2009, I’ve been steadily paying off my student loan debts. I’ve used every moment of financial freedom to make large payments and consistently paid the minimum over the years. A like many others, I’ve had times when I’ve delayed payments and also high hopes for possible loan forgiveness 🙏💰 #StudentLoanDebt #PayOffYourSavings.

I mean school really should be free to anyone seeking a higher education “My opinion”. Nevertheless for a while I have postponed the last $1000 dollar payment. 😅 #FreeEducation #DelayedPayments

Why? You ask! Maybe it was due to nostalgia. Remembering all that I went through to get a degree. Years spent going from community college to community college and taking classes between work schedules. Maybe when, I finally got my credit to a good place where I could ask for a loan & go beyond; 💰📈  Just the half schedule I had been doing for years. #CollegeLife #Nostalgia 🎓📚💼

I 🤔 think that even one college got so tired of me enrolling every semester for years that they were like either get up or shut up at one point during my collegiate career. I never saw myself as a career student more so as a professional seeking higher education towards self advancement and improvement. Paying off that loan in some way meant that I had surpassed that ideology, I guess.

It was a long passage through college and an equally long waiting period to get to the point of paying it off.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-15 suggests that God is sovereign over every aspect of life, and I am so glad that God had placed the knowledge of education in front of me so that I would have the Wisdom to seek a higher education.
