👼A litany of the way in Poetry

“This Land Is Ours”

There is nothing new under the sun.
It continues to shine; rain continues to to come.
The deserts are weary from heat of the day.
While mountains are covered with mists of gray.

God sends the seasons, each in turn;
Yet minds grasp not the lessons to learn.
He showers us with blessings rife;
Tokens, they are, of eternal life.

The trees are a haven for nesting birds.
Endless field of grain feeds hungry herds.
Parks are alive with chatter and shout.
Elders rejoice to be up and about.

This world is filled with beauty rare.
Given by God and left in our care.
Let’s take our loved ones by the hand,
and enjoy together this great land.
